Children’s Book Buyer & Bookseller June 2019 – Present
-
People's Books & Culture (Penn Book Center)
-
As Children’s Book Buyer I look over catalogs and talk to reps about the upcoming titles for the children section, graphic novels, and young adults. I also take care of the receiving and returns at the store, as well as other tasks my employers decide they want me to take on. I am the sales table coordinator as well as window artist, each in an attempt to bring more customers into the store. Also, when the store holds events, I am a seller as much as I am a host.

Ran rushes with proficiency while keeping up a positive attitude toward customers. Manned most mornings by myself, opening promptly.
